The IGA BackToSchool Competition offers a total prize pool of AU$170,000, including 1 Major Prize of a $300 IGA egift card and twenty-eight Minor Prizes of $50 IGA egift cards each. The competition ends on Friday, 27 January 2026, at 12:00 PM AEDT. To enter, participants must visit the IGA Facebook Page, locate the promotional post, and comment on it with an answer to the question posed. The competition is open to Australian residents who are 18 years of age or older. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on the originality, creative merit, and literary merit of their answers. Winners will be notified via Facebook within 7 days of the judging. In the event of an unclaimed prize, the Promoter may assign the prize to the next best entry or conduct further judging to award the prize. The promoter of the competition is Metcash Trading Limited, located at 1 Thomas Holt Drive, Macquarie Park, NSW 2113, Australia. Entrants must comply with all Conditions of Entry, which include agreeing to the use of their entries for promotional purposes.
