The Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru competition offers a trip for 2 to Peru, valued at AUD $20,000. Entry opens on 21 November 2024 and closes on 11 May 2025. Open to Australian citizens or permanent residents over 18. The winner will be selected through a random draw and notified via email or phone. If the prize remains unclaimed, a new winner will be selected. The promoter is the Australian Museum Trust. Any costs associated with claiming the prize, such as travel expenses or taxes, are the winner's responsibility. The prize is valid for travel from 1 July 2025 to 1 July 2026, with bookings required by 30 December 2025. Any disputes concerning the competition's conduct or prize claims must be addressed in writing to [email protected] within 14 days of the draw. Participants may consent to receive marketing communications from the Australian Museum at the time of entry, with the option to opt out at any time. Winners consent to the Australian Museum publishing their name and image in any media for promotional purposes without additional compensation. If a winner is deemed ineligible or fails to claim their prize within the specified period, a new winner will be drawn and notified in the same manner as the original selection.
